2010 Vilna Boomtown Days Fair

Little Town... Big Fair Attitude!

Bigger and better...that was Vilna’s 2010 Boomtown days. This year’s theme was “Little Town... Big Fair Attitude!” and it certainly was.
 
Building on last year’s success, this year we saw bigger and better inflatables, more riders for the Moto-X demonstration, laser tag, lots of entertainment, beer gardens, dance, an extraction demo by the fire department, and fireworks just to name a few.

The weather cooperated and the attendance was great. Additions to this year’s fair included a weekend long ball tournament, hoop dancer Anthony Wiskey Jack, and a stock penning demonstration.
Participation in the Bench Show was even better than expected and we even had to add more tables to accommodate the number of entries.

Planning for Boomtown Days starts almost as soon as the current one is over and it takes an enormous amount of effort on the part of community volunteers, our board members, Vilna’s Fire Department, and of course Wendy Cozicar, who is our Events Coordinator.

We are always looking for help with this event so if you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch, we’d love to have your help.
